Wedding Party Meet-n-Greet

I think I managed to get everyone in the Wedding Party pictured. Groomsmen: Louis, Fred, and Firmino (at work, unfortunately). Bridesmaids: Kate, Heather, and Andrea (who thought she avoided the camera so well! Ha!). Flower Girl and Ring Bearer: Kieran and Faolan. Bride: me. Groom: Phillip. :>)

The BBQ was on Saturday, April 30th. It was a very nice day, not too hot nor windy. Phillip shopped and prepared the majority of the food. I, on the other hand, was spending a ton of time with Heather, and spent Friday afternoon and evening with the Bridal Party searching for, and then paying for, their dresses. (The dresses are a dark blue satin w/ navy stain accent.)

The BBQ was fun. Fred was our BBQ Master and did a wonderful job of not cremating the food. The girls had fun playing with Phillip (follow the leader, sidewalk art, etc). Freddy got loose and scared the crap out of Ms Aeryn, but she was OK after some Daddy-time. The rest of the adults mingled and chatted. Andrea is happy to be paired with Firmino = someone taller than her (unlike the last wedding she was in).

The significant others were invited to the BBQ, but not all were in town that day. After the BBQ, we took Heather and Andrea to Firmino's work so they could meet him.

I was bummed to miss out on Joe's Birthday celebration part 2, but at the same time, relieved to get some more wedding To-Do's checked off my list.
