Glass Beach, Fort Bragg, 5/22/10

As I sit here, in my HSU t-shirt that is bound to end it's life as a rag to wash my car sometime soon, it all seems fitting. HSU and North Coast memories. :>)
The above pictures are from the Glass Beach in Fort Bragg. We'd arrived at the beach on Phillip's birthday, Saturday, 5/22, just as the remnants of the rain floated away. I took a picture of the "sand" and you couldn't really tell that we were at the special beach. We then made a collection of sea glass, perched on top of a huge rock. There are various shades of browns and greens. Not seen are the one or two pieces of red glass, but in the #2 picture, you can see the yellow and bright sky blue pieces.
In Phillip's hand, picture #4, you'll see bottle butts. Kinda cool. Huge pieces. The green one says "Juan" and the white one has some texture left in it still.
